Panel: Eudora Welty: Transmission & Reception of the Text

Panel title is designed to follow the conference theme, "Technologies:
Cultural, Textual, Linguistic, Pedagogical." Send 2-page abstracts or
full papers (15-minute reading time) by Oct. 20, 2000, to panel chair

rdweston@home.com. Suggested topics are "The Packaging of Welty's
Fiction: Editions, Illustrations, Other Circumtextual Frames"; "Welty &
The Transmission of Culture: Language/Linguistics, Pop or Southern
Culture"; or "The Reception of Welty's Fiction by Scholars,
Anthologists, Students, Media/Public." The conference will be held in
Tulsa, OK, at the Downtown DoubleTree Hotel, Nov 1-3, 2001.
