    The Society for the Study of Early Modern Women, together with Ashgate
    Publishing, and Convivium from the Siena Center for Medieval and Early
    Modern Studies, invites abstracts for a session at the International
    Congress on Medieval Studies held at Kalamazoo, Michigan on 3-6 May
    2001.

    The topic is "Women's Autobiographical Writings from the Fourteenth
    through the Seventeenth Centuries." The topic may be interpreted narrowly
    to include autobiographies or memoirs, or it may be interpreted more
    broadly to include autobiographical aspects of other genres such as poetry
    or romances. To meet the conference deadline of September 15, abstracts
    must be received by September 10; earlier submissions are encouraged.
