Share your research regarding the influence of technological advances as
recorded in fiction and/or non-fiction during the late 1860’s through
the early 1900’s. Utopian literature may be fertile with ideas for
    technological influences during this period.
Technology played a huge role in the development of turn of the century
cities. I am interested in papers that address issues of technological
influence, especially in utopian literature. You might even consider a
comparison of slightly later writers such as Orwell and his view of
technology in society. I am open to all sides of the issue.
