    PCA/ACA national meeting....New Deadline for proposals...(11/1; 4/11-14, 2001)

    DEADLINE EXTENDED FOR NATIONAL PCA
        AND ACA MEETING....

National PCA/ACA Conference Door Still Open
and will remain open until 1 November, 2000

    Dear Popular Culture Enthusiasts...

The conference reports are in from the various
Area Chairs, but the national office still has places to
add folks. However, you need to act quickly to be on
the national program for Philadelphia. (The meeting
is scheduled for Philadelphia's downtown Hyatt,
    April 121-14, 2001.)

Individual proposals will be accepted directly
by the national office until 1 November.

Send a 100-word abstract along with full and
complete address data/telephone information and e-mail
to the following guru and founder:

    Ray B. Browne
    Popular Press
    BGSU
    Bowling Green, OH
    (419)372.7861 and fax 8095
    Rbrowne@bgnet.bgsu.edu

Time is of the essence so better to call, fax, or e-mail than
    to query by mail.

Join us for a terrific meeting in Philadelphia and
tell your colleagues around the country that the door is
still open. More information about the meeting is at the
national web site, but be reminded that proposals need
to go to Founder Ray Browne at this late date.

        Be there!

    Peter Rollins
