To all academics working on Asian, African, or Middle Eastern Literatures,

SOAS Literary Review is a journal of postgraduate research. It seeks to provide an international forum for research students working on the literatures of Africa, Asia, and the Middle East. We welcome contributions on all aspects of postgraduate literary research including articles, translations, fieldwork commentaries , and book and media reviews. We hope to stimulate dialogue between research students and scholars and forge links across institutions.

Issues 1 and 2 are now on-line. If you have any research students working in these fields, or know of any who might be interested in submitting work to the journal please direct them to the website at

    http://www.soas.ac.uk/soaslit/home.html

The aim of the journal is to foster dialogue between research students, to open up their work to their peers and to initiate them into the processes for publishing their work. -- The Editors SOAS Literary Review Room 482 Dept. of Africa SOAS Thornhaugh Street London, WC1H 0XG soas.lit@soas.ac.uk
