The 7th annual international Pedagogy & Theatre of the Oppressed Conference will
be held on March 29-31, 2001 in Omaha, Nebraska. This annual meeting builds on
the ideology and methods of Paulo Freire and Augusto Boal, focusing on the work
of liberatory educators, activists, and community organizers. Conference
attendees will collaborate in investigations of the roots of class, race, and
gender inequalities. This event provides opportunities to combine action and
    reflection.

Pre-conference Theatre of the Oppressed workshops with Augusto Boal will be on
March 25-27 (Rainbow of Desire) and March 28 (Theatre of the Oppressed
    overview).
