    Dear Sir / Madam,
I recently e-mailed you with a call for papers. Unfortunately, I am
afraid that the notice contained a number of errors. I would therefore
be most grateful if you could replace the old notice with the notice
    below as a correction.
    Many thanks.

    POSTGRADUATE ENGLISH

Postgraduate English (UK): A Journal and Forum for Postgraduates in
English in the UK and EU.

Papers are invited for vol. 3 of this new journal (March 2001).

Postgraduates in English in the UK or in any EU country are welcome to
submit academic papers of up to 7,000 words, which should conform to MLA
guidelines in presentation and be of PhD standard. These papers will be
refereed and should therefore be despatched by January 15th.

We also welcome articles of academic journalism on postgraduate issues
for our 'Forum' section. We would especially like to receive accounts of
teaching experience from postgraduates. These papers may be less formal
as they will not be refereed.

The competition ran in the first two issues is now over, and the winner
will be announced in issue 3.

No 2 (September 2000) now released on
