    For MLA 2001 in New Orleans, I'm hoping to put together a panel (or,
    depending on the response, a roundtable) on Gerald Graff's work called
    "Conflicts, Culture Wars, Curricula: The Impact of Gerald Graff." I'm
    particularly interested in hearing from people who:

    1) Have made grist out of some significant theoretical disagreement or
    tension with Graff's work;

    2) Have applied Graff's work in unusual or unexpected settings; or

    3) Have incorporated Graff's theories into actual pedagogical or
    instititutional innovations.

    Please send inquiries by February 1, 2001 to HoberekA@missouri.edu; I'll
    ask for abstracts on the basis of how the inquiries fit together, then make
    final decisions on the basis of the abstracts.
