    CALL FOR PAPERS

    Women Studies at SW/TX PCA/ACA Meeting

    The Southwest/Texas Popular Culture Association/American Culture
    Association invites submissions of papers pertaining to any aspect of
    Women's Studies for its annual conference to be held March 7-10, 2001,
    at the Sheraton Old Town Hotel in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Areas
    on Gender, Collecting, Film, and Music will be of interest to those in
    Women Studies.

    This is a very active meeting in a wonderful location, adjacent to the
    Oldtown Section of Albuquerque--with two museums, many restaurants,
    and lots of shopping.

    Past paper and paper suggestions are below:

    Pioneer Women in Literature and Film
    Male and Female Roles on the Plains
    Divorce as a Frontier Tradition?
    Women Writers and Characters in Literature
    Studies in Feminism
    New Images of Women in the West
    Women in Western Minorities
