    Renaissance Textualities: The 2001 SCMLA Conference will be held in Tulsa,
    Oklahoma, Nov. 1-3, and will focus on the theme, "Technologies: Cultural,
    Textual, Linguistic, Pedagogical." In connection with this theme, we invite
    papers that address the production, transmission, and/or reception of texts
    in the oral tradition, manuscripts, and/or print during the Renaissance.
    Papers may also address the representation of textuality within literature
    and drama. Send 500-word abstracts or completed papers by March 15 to Anna
    Nardo, Department of English, Louisiana State University, Baton Rouge, LA
