      The H.D. Society welcomes 250-word abstracts for the following panels at
    the American Literature Association Annual Conference May 24-27, 2001,
    Cambridge, MA:

    H.D., American?
    This panel invites discussions of H.D.'s national identity/identifications.
    Papers may address issues such as: H.D.'s connection to American traditions,
    her sense of national affiliation, H.D. and expatriatism, H.D.'s place in
    canons of British Literature, and H.D.'s European migrations.

    H.D. and Theology
    This panel invites papers on H.D.'s interpretations, revisions,
    enhancements, and other poetic and philosophical uses of various theological
    traditions.
