Session: ENGLISH V: TWENTIETH-CENTURY BRITISH LITERATURE
Topic: "Images of the United States in Twentieth-Century
British Literature"
16-18 minute papers should reflect twentieth-century
changes in the British perception of the United States
and may focus on American imagery either in the works of
an individual author in a single time period, or on the
works of several authors covering a broader time span.
500 word abstracts must be submitted to the session
chair by March 15, 2001.
