Critical Theory & Cultural Studies of The University of
Nottingham, UK
Call For Papers
Contributions are invited for the above conference. This 3- day
event will consist of 6 sessions, each organized as follows: a
plenary paper will be followed by a section devoted to one of
the 6 chosen themes or topics of the conference:
1. "going native"
2. minority expressions
3. hybridities
4. guilt
5. epistemologies of liberation
6. re-mapping cultures
Each of the above themes/ topics will be addressed in the light of
postcolonial experiences on an international comparative basis.
Abstracts of proposals should be no more than 200 words long
and should be submitted, along
with a provisional title by
2 March 2001 to:
