CINEACTION No. 55 examines the construction and meaning of film stars,
celebrities and actors. We encourage discussion of personas both
on-and-off the screen, considering performance in particular works and/or
the manufacturing of popular images.
Articles may address either contemporary or classical images or
stars/icons. Submissions must be in by APRIL 1, 2001. Send to CINACTION,
