Call for papers for Special Session Proposal at the 2001 MLA Annual
Convention (12/27-12/30, 2001, New Orleans, LA):

Self-Reflexive Cinema

This panel will explore narrative and thematic issues in
self-referential films (Hollywood, Indie, or otherwise). Papers
treating individual films, genres, and/or directors welcome. Direct
questions or e-mail full essays or one-page abstracts by 1 March to
Christopher Ames <cames@agnesscott.edu> and Benjamin Schneider
<terrapin@uwm.edu>.
