to foster cross-disciplinary discussion and debate.

Carleton's departments of Philosophy and Cognitive
Science, and will include a number of refereed
contributions from graduate (and undergraduate)
students in addition to an address by a keynote
speaker (TBA) and a mini-symposium on the relevance of
Kant to Cognitive Science and contemporary Philosophy
of Mind.

Submissions are welcome from all areas of cognitive
science, the philosophy of mind, the philosophy of
language, and the history of philosophy and cognitive
science. In particular, we would like to encourage
submissions that cross the traditional disciplinary
boundaries to report or comment on recent theoretical
or experimental results. All submissions will be
subject to a blind review process, and the proceedings
of the conference will be published in PDF format on
the conference web site.
The deadline for submissions is May 1, 2001. Although
