    Papers are invited for the Textual and Bibliographical Studies Section of
    the South Atlantic Modern Language Association, to be delivered at SAMLA's
    annual convention, November 9-11, 2001, at the Westin Peachtree Plaza
    Hotel in Atlanta, GA. The session topic, "Critical Implications of
    Bibliographical Research," is designed to accommodate a variety of
    critical approaches, including innovative, socially conscious accounts of
    the material textuality of bibliographical artifacts, as well as
    traditional applications of bibliographical analysis to textual
    criticism. Especially welcome are case studies of bibliographical
    artifacts whose material production has significant textual implications.

    Papers should not exceed 20 minutes reading time in length. Abstracts of
    no more than 250 words should be sent by March 31, 2001, to the program
    chair at the address below:
