CFP: ENCYCLOPEDIA OF AMERICAN CHILDREN’S LITERATURE (9/15; book).
Editor seeks writers for an ENCYCLOPEDIA OF AMERICAN CHILDREN’S LITERATURE
to be published by Greenwood Press. This single-volume reference will
provide scholars, teachers, writers, librarians, editors, and students of
American children’s literature with a much-needed, compact resource in the
field. The book will include entries on authors, works, characters,
periodicals, themes, genres, organizations and events, and other topics
relevant to children’s literature from the United States. Each contributor
receives a byline and contributor’s note in the book in addition to a
complimentary copy of the volume. Articles are due September 15th.
