    A GENERAL CALL FOR PAPERS

    The Medieval and Renaissance Drama Society (MRDS) will be sponsoring one (or more as needed) sessions at the Leeds 2002 International Medieval Congress, on the topic "Scenes and Machines: Spectacular Effects in the Church. " MRDS invites proposals for twenty-minute papers on any aspect of the production of English or continental drama, semi-dramatic services, customs, or ceremonies, from the perspective of this topic. It would be helpful to receive proposals by August 15.
