    The deadline has been extended for the Shakespeare and Violence session at
    the Central New York Conference on Language and Literature.

    All papers considering violence in relation to Shakespeare's works or later
    appropriations of such are welcome.

    Please send 300-500 word abstracts by July 1, 2001 to Catherine Thomas:
