    COMPOSITION AND RHETORIC: USES OF TECHNOLOGY IN THE COMPOSITION CLASSROOM

    11th Annual Central New York Conference on Language and Literature
    Cortland College of the State University of New York
    October 28 - 30, 2001

    Possible discussion topics include, but are not limited to, the following:

    * How does technology impact the pedagogy of the composition classroom?
    * What uses of technology have you found to be most effective/least effective
     in your composition classes?
    * What have you discovered about the process of writing through various uses
    of technology?
    * What resistance to the use of technology have you experienced with students?
    with colleagues? with administration?
    * What innovative uses have you made of the "standard" technologies: email,
    power point, internet researching, etc.
