    CALL FOR PAPERS:
    INTERNATIONAL MEDIEVAL CONGRESS, LEEDS, 8-11 JULY 2002

    *Women and Writing in Medieval and Renaissance Scotland: Forum* invite
    submissions for a proposed session on medieval and early modern queenship in
    Scotland at the International Medieval Congress at the University of Leeds, 8
    - 11 July, 2002. We welcome in particular proposals which address the subject
    of queenship from an interdisciplinary perspective.

    If you are interested, please let WWMRS chairs, Sarah Dunnigan or Evelyn
    Newlyn (see contact details below), know by July 31st, 2001. An abstract
    would then be requested by the end of August.

    *Women and Writing in Medieval and Renaissance Scotland: Forum* (WWMRS) was
    established in 1998 as a network or forum for scholars who focus on the
    subject of writing about and by women in medieval and Renaissance Scotland.
    WWMRS was created to present, disseminate, and foster scholarship and
    research on women in these periods. The Forum regularly sponsors conference
    sessions in Britain and the U.S., and provides information about resources
    (bibliographies, databases, work-in-progress). A newsletter is published
    annually.
