Theme: Creation/Re-creation
Offers of papers on any aspects of the above theme will be entertained,
for example:
* construction of national/individual identities
* translation and texts
* play and game, fantasy, sports
* humour, laughter, mirth, merry-making
* spirituality, the sacred/profane
* renewal, technology.
Other well-motivated topics will also be considered.
Papers may deal with literary matters or range more widely. Inter- or
multi-disciplinary topics are particularly encouraged.
Dates: 4 to 7 September 2002
Deadline for titles: 30 September 2001
Deadline for abstracts: 28 February 2002
Papers must be submitted in camera-ready form in order to be published
before the conference.
