WHAT: "The Medieval in Popular Culture"

This is a panel or series of panels designed to explore how concepts, images,
characters, individuals, themes, or histories from the Middle Ages interact
with popular culture. How do we use popular culture to help us better
understand, teach, or study the Middle Ages? Or vice-versa? Papers can examine
cinematic versions of medieval stories, medieval imagery in video games, pop
literature versions of middle ages history or characters, etc.
