    7th Annual Pacific Rim Literary Conference
    "Expanding the Text, Imagining the Future"
    February 22-23, 2002

    The Pacific Rim Literary Conference is a graduate conference held on
    the campus of the University of Alaska Anchorage. We welcome critical
    papers on all topics pertaining to literature, literary studies, and
    rhetoric. Proposals for panels are encouraged.

    This year, we are particularly interested in the ways science and
    technology intersect with literature and language. Potential topics
    could include, but are not limited to, the following: complexity
    theory, the post-human, interactive fiction, hypertext, multimedia, and
    pedagogy. Accepted submissions will be considered for publication in
    our on-line journal of conference proceedings.
