Field Work: Old Patterns and New Directions in Ecocriticism
This session will explore the growing importance and expanding scope of the
fields of environmental literature and ecological literary criticism in the
context of critical approaches and theoretical initiatives that have
transformed literary studies during the last several decades, and in
relation to the longstanding human and literary concern with the relation
between humankind and the environment.
