    2002 Art & Soul Festival, Baylor University, Waco, Texas, March 14-17, 2002

    All research on religion and the arts and all creative works by writers of
    faith or on the topic of faith will be considered for presentation in
    concurrent sessions. Individual papers or readings, panels, and other
    presentation forms are acceptable. The scholarly emphasis for 2002 will be
    religion in Southwestern literature and culture, but all proposals on
    religion and literature will be welcomed for consideration. We will also
    welcome panels or presentations on writing for peace and justice, and on
    the teaching of writing, literature, or religion. Deadline for one-page
    proposals is October 1, 2001.
