    Panel Title: Autobiography
Panel Chair: Kathryn L. Kleypas
Deadline for Submissions: July 25, 2001

    I am in the process of compiling a panel on the topic of 
"autobiography."  While I am particularly interested in the notion of 
autobiography as nation-building, I am open to all aspects of 
autobiography from all national traditions and eras.

    Please submit short abstracts either in the body of the e-mail 
transmission or in a Word or WordPerfect attachment by July 25 to:
