The American Name Society invites submissions for presentations at its 50th
anniversary conference, held in conjunction with the MLA conference, 27-30
December 2001, in New Orleans. Open topic, with a focus on any aspect of
names study (personal, geographical, literary, commercial). Abstracts of
150 words should be sent via email to address below. Proposals for
individual papers or full panels are welcome. Deadline: 1 September 2001.
