Call for Papers
The Constance Fenimore Woolson Society is calling for papers to be
delivered at its panel at the American Literature Association conference
in Long Beach, CA, May 30-June 2, 2002.
The panel’s theme is “Woolson and the Literary Culture of the
Late-Nineteenth Century.” Papers on the following topics are especially
welcome: Woolson’s work in the context of the periodicals, Woolson’s
works’ intertextuality with that of other writers, or Woolson’s
relationships to her contemporaries.
Please submit 250-word abstracts, bibliographies, and contact
information (including e-mail address and institutional affiliation, if
applicable) by November 30, 2001. E-mail submissions are preferred.
