The Western Society for Eighteenth-Century Studies Annual Conference

February 15-17, 2002

“The Long Eighteenth-Century: New Perspectives and Old”

Sessions are invited on the literature, music, visual and performing
arts, and other areas of interest in the “long eighteenth century.”
Proposals that address contrasting methodologies or differences in
perspective over time are particularly encouraged. “Love Arm’d, Alphra
Behn and Her Pen,” the acclaimed one woman show by Karen Eterovich, will
be offered on Saturday evening as part of the conference. Please submit
your one-page proposal by 3 December 2001 to either:
