TRANSNATIONAL ANTI-IMPERIAL CULTURE is a session for the SCMLA Literature
and Language in Global Contexts Conference in Austin, Texas, October 31st-
November 2nd. This panel explores how colonized peoples collaborated and
imagined transnational communities in order to resist European and Euro-
American forms of empire building. Hybridized cultural patterns emerged
to formulate new anti-imperial strategies. Send abstracts by January 14,
