Session Proposal for the 37th International Congress on Medieval Studies,
May 2-5, 2002

This session, entitled 'Insular Time,' welcomes papers from all disciplines
dealing with the cultural, historical, religious, and literary perceptions
of time that either originate or were present in the British Isles during
the Middle Ages. Possible topics might include the relationship of time to
narrative/narratology, time as a liturgical device, and medieval
anachronisms. Please send 1-page abstracts to Liam Felsen by email
