Global Highways: The Road Movie Reconsidered

This session for the NEMLA Convention, Toronto, Canada, 12-13 Apr. 2002
will consider how the road movie (individual films, as genre, groups of
films, directors) interacts with discourse on globalization,
transnationalism, the politics of location, and as transculturalism.
