CALL FOR PAPERS:

The deadline for submissions has been extended for a special session at the
26th annual meeting of the Philological Association of the Carolinas, 21-23
March 2002 in Asheville, North Carolina.

Proposals are invited for any topic exploring intersections between
Shakespeare and film. Virtually any topic treating Shakespeare and film
adaptations, film history, film and pedagogy, or film theory and cultural
studies is welcome.

Please send a 200-word abstract and a one-page c.v. by October 5th to Tony
Perrello, Box 7138, Lenoir-Rhyne College, Hickory, NC 28603 or e-mail the
