    Call for Papers: Chicano Historical Fiction
    Abstracts Due: January 25, 2002

    This is a proposed session for the South Central Modern Language Association
    annual meeting to be held in Austin, Texas on October 31 - November 2, 2002.

    This panel will address national, local, or familial historicity in Chicano
    literature. Topics dealing with historical representation, projections of
    historical future, or the uses of history are encouraged. Papers in English
    or Spanish welcome.
