The deadline has been extended for papers considering any aspect of Zona
Gale's life and career for possible inclusion on a panel at the American
Literature Association conference in May 2002. Possible topics may
include Gale's politics--including progressivism, suffrage and feminism,
pacifism--as well as her literary work. Please send abstracts by
