    CALL FOR PAPERS (GRAD. STUDENTS)

    MEMORY AND NARRATIVE
    April 5, 2002

    The conference theme invites discussion on memory and
    its problematic translations into narratives. Papers
    examining recovery, retrieval and re-inscription and
    resistance in different bodies of texts are welcome.
    Papers are invited in all periods, disciplines and
    genres.

    Deadline for submissions: January 31, 2002
    Abstracts 250 words may be submitted either
    electronically or by surface mail. Conference
    presentations may not exceed 15-20 minutes.

    E-mail submissions: paste the abstract into the body
    of an e-mail to
