Conference: Minor Eighteenth-Century Poets Revisited, 1720-1790

The conference will take place in Chester (UK) from July 20-21 2002. The
proceedings of the conference will be published. Potential speakers are
asked to submit a 200-300 word proposal in Word or RTF formats to
    JungSandro@aol.com

It is hoped that there will be several independent panels dedicated to
William Collins, Thomas Gray, female authors as well as to neglected work
by deserving poets. The following might be dealt with in 20-30 minute
papers: Mason, Leapor, the Wartons, Akenside, John Gilbert Cooper, etc.
Deadline for submission of proposals for papers is 1 April 2002. You will
be notified as soon as possible whether you paper has been accepted for
presentation. A provisional programme will be sent to the speakers in early
    April.
