    Women's Caucus: "The Female Scholar in the Classroom."

    The South Central Modern Language Association (SCMLA)

    59th Annual Convention to be held in Austin, Texas, October 31 - November 2, 2002.

    Abstracts due by March 15, 2002

    This session will focus on the unique place of the female scholar in the
    classroom as professor and/or student. We encourage submissions which
    address particular challenges, and explore potential solutions. In keeping
    with the conference theme of "Literature and Language in Global Contexts,"
    submissions from non-US citizens participating in the US classroom are
    encouraged.

    Please submit a 250 word abstract by March 15 via email or regular mail
