    CFP for a proposed panel on early modern conflicts in
    religion, to be held at (Dis)Junctions, the ninth
    annual humanities conference of the University of
    California, Riverside. The conference will be held
    April fifth and sixth. This panel will consider the
    impact and implications of the Protestant Reformation
    on any aspect of early modern society, such as
    literature, drama, the government, educational
    systems, gender relations, and international
    relations. Possible topics might also include, for
    example, Counter-reformation, heresy, idolatry,
    rebellion, divorce, religion as performance or
    performance in religious practices, and the use of
    spectacle.

    Abstracts of one page may be sent via email to
    disjunctions@hotmail.com, with the text in the body of
    the message. Abstracts may also be mailed to
    (Dis)Junctions: UCR's Ninth Annual Humanities
