American Literary criticism, including humor, trickster discourse, and
autobiography.

proposed California Center for native Nations will advance scholarly

California. The Center will provide opportunities for
research collaborations with California's Native peoples that will
benefit tribal communities and expand scholarly research in the field of
Native Nations. Currently, UCR faculty offer a wide range of courses in
Native American Studies in the fields of Dance, English, Ethnic Studies,
History, and Religion.
