      DEADLINE OF FEB. 15, 2002

    "(Dis)junctions: The Center Does Not Hold" is the ninth annual humanities
    graduate student conference at the University of California, Riverside.
    It is a two day event, April 5-6, 2002, located on the Southern California
    campus in Riverside.

    We are currently accepting abstracts for a proposed panel about Chaucer's The
    Canterbury Tales. Papers may address any issues in The Canterbury Tales,
    including women's roles, humor, and history.

      Abstracts (one page) should be e-mailed to
      Disjunctions@hotmail com (text in the body of the message;
      please no attachments). If sending by snail mail,
      please be sure the submission arrives by the deadline
