    Paper proposals are invited for the twentieth century British literature
    session at the 2002 MMLA. Titled “Not the Man My Father Was: Masculine
    Identity in Post-War British Fiction,” the panel will explore visions of
    masculine identity in an era of economic, sexual, and political
    transformation. Readings of late-modern and postmodern novels invited.

    The conference will be held November 8-10, 2002 in Minneapolis. For
