Deadline: June 10, 2002
Cal State Fullerton's As You Like Shakespeare Society is soliciting
submissions for its fifth annual journal. We encourage submissions from
faculty, graduate students, and undergraduates from throughout the Cal State
system, as well as from any community college students. There is no
particular theme for the journal, except that the entries must be
Shakespeare related.
In addition to critical essays, we encourage original poetry or sonnets,
creative writing, or anything in the form of prose or verse that relates to
the Bard. Emailed submissions are strongly encouraged, and can be sent to
bbrislin@fnf.com <mailto:bbrislin@fnf.com>. Publication will be in the fall
of 2002, and each selected submittee will receive a copy of the journal. If
you need to send your submission via regular US mail, that is acceptable,
however, if your work is selected, you will ultimately need to submit it via
MS Word format, compatible with
MS DOS. A cover sheet with your name (as you would like for it to appear in
the publication), address, phone number, email address, academic standing
and school affiliation is required. Papers must be in 12 point, Times New
Roman font, single-spaced and critical essays must be in MLA format with all
secondary sources cited. Under- graduate and community college submissions
may be no more than five pages and graduate and faculty submissions are to
be no more than ten pages (single-spaced).
Mailed submissions may be sent to: Cal State University Fullerton
