        Contributors are invited to write entries for British and Irish
    Short Fiction, 1945-2000, a new volume of the Dictionary of Literary
    Biography, under contract for publication in the USA with Bruccoli Clark
    Layman, Inc. in October 2003.

        If you are interested in writing an entry (these range from 3,000 to
    10,000 words) on one of the writers listed below, please contact the
    editors IMMEDIATELY.
