ESSAY COLLECTION ON FLANNERY O'CONNOR AND FEMINISM--CALL FOR CONTRIBUTORS

I am seeking essays for a proposed collection which would offer feminist
readings of Flannery O'Connor's work. Essays should approach O'Connor
and/or her texts from a feminist perspective, employing any form of
feminism (cultural, political, psychoanalytic, etc.).

Conference length essays as well as longer articles will be considered. I
invite complete articles or 350-500 word proposals. If your proposal is
accepted, you will be invited to submit the full essay, with approximately
4 months to complete it.

Articles and proposals are requested no later than September 15, 2002; all
submissions should be accompanied by a resume or curriculum vitae.
Please submit using MSWord attachment (or send inquiries) to Dr. Terri
Caruso at tcc10@psu.edu. Early submissions are encouraged.
