THE T.S. ELIOT SOCIETY: PEER SEMINAR--CALL FOR POSITION PAPERS
The 23rd Annual Meeting of The T.S. Eliot Society will be held in St.
Louis, MO from 27 to 29 September, 2002. The distinguished critic
Professor Marjorie Perloff (Stanford) will deliver this year's T.S. Eliot
Memorial Lecture.
Peer Seminar on Four Quartets
Directed by
Professor Ronald Schuchard, Emory University
This session will be limited to twelve participants, who will have
submitted in advance position papers dealing with any aspect of FQ. These
papers should be no longer than five double-spaced pages. Papers by
selected participants will be circulated to all members of the group ahead
of the Annual Meeting. Participants will discuss, but not read, their
papers at the Peer Seminar. Please send such submissions
electronically to the Society's President, Professor Shyamal Bagchee
<shyamal.bagchee@ualberta.ca> by July 10.
Please include also a brief bio-sketch.
All presenters will have to be a current member of the Society by
conference time; please consult the Treasurer, Professor William Charron
