The Wole Soyinka Festival in Orlando: Call for Papers and Conference
Announcement

The 1st Wole Soyinka Festival in Orlando will take place next year from
February 17-23 at the University of Central Florida. Distinguished
scholar, Professor Bernth Lindfors will deliver the Inaugural Lecture at
the Spring Festival.

The organizers of the WSF invite interested scholars to submit proposals
for papers and presentations at the international conference taking
place February 19 through 21. Such proposals must dwell on any aspects
of Wole Soyinka's body of works, and they should contribute to the
debate on the significance of the Nobel Laureate in world literary
scholarship.

Papers' abstracts in electronic form (MSWord/300 words) should reach the
organizers on/before September 29, 2002. These should be forwarded to
iconference@wolesoyinkafestival.com

Papers should be 20-25 minutes in length. Selected presentations will be
