The Victorian Landscape Descriptions panel seeks abstracts of
papers (500 words or less) that discuss landscape descriptions of the
period, fictional or actual, in prose or verse, that address any of the
following cultural issues: psychology of perception, ethics, religion,
science, exploration, social or political theory and art/aesthetics.
Please be specific about AV needs, since NEMLA policy concerning AV
requests has changed. If you have questions, please consult me about them.
I would prefer that abstracts be sent by email to the above
address. I will accept snail mail proposals at the PSU Abington College
address given above. If you have questions or concerns, you may call at
